I have been touring, writing, and recording music across Canada, with Weyburn and Toronto as a home base, since 2004. I was still in 12th grade when Away From Here’s album topped the smartpunk.com charts, which in turn got us booked for Warped Tour 04 (Canadian Dates). With the guidance of Regina's own Chris Tessmer, I began filling the off dates with Dine Alone Records alumni, The Fullblast, and made friendships and connections all summer long. When we returned home, Away from Here abruptly ended. Then, Dear Solace began as an obsession with electronic and emo, and a free version of the sequencer software known as "FL Studio". The outcome was the album "Everyone in the room knows but you," which spiraled to #1 on the iTunes electronic charts leading to the formation of a hardcore band inspired by the project, linked together through friendships made in music.  
The Holly Springs Disaster began, touring recklessly across Canada with 200+ shows a year. We developed a small cult following and ended up signing a record deal with Underground Operations and partnering with The Agency Group out of Toronto. We toured nationally and recorded our debut album in Oakland, California with Zack Ohren. We played with incredible bands like Architects, Protest The Hero, Ten Second Epic, All That Remains, Suicide Silence, Counterparts, Step to Your Guns + more. My personal highlights with the group are the sold-out headlining show at The Opera House in 2010, and the final 2 shows at The Danforth Music Hall in December 2014, which sold out in less than 24 hours. 
Currently , I live in Weyburn with a production studio in my home and I also work out of Milestone studios in Regina with my guitar player Danton Moorhead, and that is where we recorded my most recent album, the “Hate Me” EP. We have performed, supported, headlined, or showcased across Canada over the past two years, with acts as diverse as Unearth, 54-40, Calling All Captains, Chastity, Limblifter, and A Wilhelm Scream to name a few. 
We are currently recording our sophmore album.
